Renée Christina is an artist currently living in Vermont. She explores movement, shape, and space through playful abstracts. She hopes her art inspires curiosity, joy and playfulness.

Renée worked as a 4th grade teacher for 10 years. She believes that given the right environment and support, children can’t help but be inspired and curious about the world around them. She feels that as we grow older, it becomes increasingly challenging to nurture that playful, curious excitement. Her studio is a sacred place where she nurtures that spark and lets it guide her.

When Renée isn’t in her studio, she can often be found taking classes or outdoors. Over the past few years, she has studied watercolor, drawing, pen and ink, figure drawing, painting, design, ceramics, and sculpture through universities, community colleges, art institutes, and local studios. And in the last two years, she has hiked over 5,000 miles, from Mexico to Canada twice, along the Pacific Crest Trail and the Continental Divide Trail.
